CONSULTATION

Lighting, architecture, and room décor are important to consider when choosing paint colour or scheme. We offer professional colour consultations to help you choose the best colour or colour scheme to suit your needs, style, and décor. We have an app that we use to show you how a colour would look in the area that you are painting.
Proper preparation work is key to achieving beautiful long-lasting results. We will perform any repairs necessary before painting. The time it takes to repair depends on the amount of damage, and we will discuss this with you during the quote phase. We are also available for repairs and renovations, even if you’re not hiring a painter. Take a look at our list of handyman services; even if something is not listed, contact us to discuss your project, and we’ll see how we can help!

We aim to make life easier and simpler for you by providing services above and beyond just painting.

The team at Eastern Hills have the skills and knowledge to provide services such as installing new baseboards, wainscoting, doors & trim, lighting, bathroom & kitchen accessories, and even drywall installation & removal.

We also provide exterior house painting and refinishing of decks, fences, pergolas, sheds and workshops.

Take a look at the services section of our website and contact us to discuss your project. We are here to help!

We offer free written estimates for commercial and residential jobs. We will respond to all requests within 24 hours. The wait time for virtual or on-site estimate is generally 2-3 days.
The exterior of your home cannot be painted in the winter. The winter season in the Durham Region lasts from the beginning of December to mid-April. Temperatures below 1.5 degrees Celsius (35 degrees Fahrenheit) will prevent us from painting exteriors during this time.

Extreme temperature and humidity can impact paint job quality as they will impede proper paint bonding and curing. While painting interiors, temperature and humidity can be controlled, so it doesn’t have as much of an impact on our services.

For exterior surfaces, we cannot paint in winter when it’s too cold (below 1.5° Celsius / 35° Fahrenheit). In the summer, the paint will dry too quickly when it’s too hot (above 32.3° Celsius / 90° Fahrenheit), which may result in bubbling and blistering. We will evaluate surface type and its exposure to the sun, as well as type of paint that is used to determine the best time for the service. We will work with your schedule and ensure top quality results.

For all other services, please contact us with details of your project and we will be happy to discuss what we can do for you.

Our goal is to minimize the disruption to your life.  At the end of each day our crews will clean the areas we are working in and dispose of any refuse.  We will also update you via email, phone, or text, and provide pictures or video of how the day went. At that time we will also answer any questions you may have.
We understand that things can change. Each job has a dedicated manager available to contact from start to finish of the project to discuss any changes. As well, during the project, you will receive daily updates, and we will address any questions or concerns you might have at that time.
